John Woodward is the immediate past president of the New Zealand Law Society Canterbury-Westland Branch. He has extensive experience in commercial and property law. His experience extends to company directorships, acquisitions, sales and succession planning as well as large subdivisions and complex land transactions. John has acted for a wide variety of businesses, including farms, manufacturers, service industry and retailers. He also holds many private trusteeships and acts for several large charitable trusts. Individuals are important to John's wide practice and he regularly assists them with the range of wills, trusts and wealth management issues arising for them as business owners.
